The water surrounding the Gili Islands offers an amazing array of marine life that will captivate divers of all levels, apart from the thousands of species of fish, you will see turtles, cuttlefish, stingrays, sharks, morays, and much more.

What can I expect if I book a Fun dive?
Manta Dive offers up to 3 dives a day as well as night dives. Each single tank boat dive leaves from in front of the dive center and returns within 2 hours.
All dives are lead by an experienced Dive Guide with a maximum of 4 divers per guide. Divers are split into groups according to certification level, experience and air consumption. You need an open water certificate to book a Fun Dive.
The dives are all drift dives, so the boat will always follow the divers. The dive sites are a mix of slopes, sea mounds, walls and canyons. The highlight of the diving in the Gilis is the warm water, great visibility, and the variety of aquatic life you can see on just a few dives.
Much diving is also available in Lombok.

General terms for operation
PLEASE NOTE - there is no pickup available from your hotel - just make your own way to Manta Dive Gili Trawangan.
- Boat Dives go out at least 3 times a day (with seasonal variations on timings), night dives every few days depending on demand.
- Free drinking water is available at the dive center and on the boats
- Manta Dive staff will receive your booking and send an addditional confirmation within 24hrs.
Fun Diving Terms & Conditions
Requirements
- Be at least 10 years old & able to follow your instructor’s guidance
- Hold a valid Open Water Diver certification (18m) or higher.
- Provide your current certification level and number of logged dives.
- Complete a Medical Statement* before diving. If you answer "Yes" to any medical question, written clearance from a doctor is required before arrival.
- Have valid dive insurance covering diving activities.
- Be able to swim proficiently.
Diving Requirements & Safety
- Certified divers who have not dived within the last 6 months must complete a Scuba Review before participating in fun dives.
- All diving activities are subject to the dive professional's assessment of your experience, ability, and prevailing conditions.
Bookings & Fees
- Fun dive prices include all equipment, dive guide, and boat fees.
- Fun dive prices exclude the Marine Park Fee (Rp100,000 per person), payable on-site.
