What can I expect if I book a Scube Diver Course Course?
From the moment you sign up, Manta Dive Gili T handle the logistics so you can focus on the fun. Here is exactly how your two-day adventure will unfold:
Day 1: Foundations & First Breaths
- Morning: We’ll review the basic dive theory together (or check off what you completed online) and get you fitted for your premium rental gear.
- Afternoon: You’ll head to our training pool. Under the patient guidance of your instructor, you’ll take your first breaths underwater and practice essential safety skills at a comfortable, stress-free pace.
Day 2: The Open Ocean
- The Big Event: This is what you came for! You’ll board our boat and head out for two incredible open-water training dives at the vibrant reefs surrounding the Gili Islands.
- Graduation: After safely navigating the ocean up to 12 meters, we’ll head back to the shop, log your dives, hand over your exclusive Manta T-Shirt, and celebrate your official global certification!
General terms for operation
PLEASE NOTE - there is no pickup available from your hotel - just make your own way to Manta Dive Gili Trawangan.
- Introduction dives are run daily (with seasonal variations on timings)
- Free drinking water is available at the dive center and on the boats
- Manta Dive staff will receive your booking and send an addditional confirmation within 24hrs.
Diving Course Terms & Conditions
Requirements
To participate in this course, you must:
- Be at least 10 years old & able to follow your instructor’s guidance
- Complete a Medical Statement before diving. If you answer "Yes" to any medical question, written clearance from a doctor is required before arrival. Failure to provide required medical clearance may result in being unable to participate, with no refund.
- Have valid dive insurance covering diving activities.
- Be able to complete a 180m swim and a 10-minute survival float without aids.
- Wait at least 24 hours after your final dive before flying or travelling to altitude.
Course Limits & Completion
- Maximum depth of 12 metres.
- All courses are performance-based.
- Instructors may adjust dive depths and training activities based on age, experience, confidence, ability, and diving conditions.
- If a course cannot be completed, referral paperwork may be provided.
Course fees
- Course prices include all equipment, instructor fees, and boat fees.
- Course prices exclude the Marine Park Fee (Rp100,000 per person), payable on-site.
Amendments and Cancellations & Fees
- Booking dates may be changed free of charge, subject to availability.
- Courses may be rescheduled in cases of illness, subject to availability.
- Diving courses are non-refundable.
- We are not liable for cancellations due to illness, family matters, missed flights, travel changes, or force majeure events.
