Gili Water Taxis
Sudin Transport is a well organinsed local transport service offering private speed boat transfers or water taxi services between each of the Gili Islands and Lombok. Perfect for day trips between the Gili Islands or Lombok. Unlike the scheduled local boat services that stop operating around 17:00, the water taxis will keep operating until midnight. So you can enjoy a day and night out on one Gili island and still make it back to your island base on another.
The water taxis are local speed boats that depart from the main harbours on each of the Gili Islands. They take a maximum of 8 passengers. Departures are not scheduled so you can choose your departure time when making a booking. Travel time is between 5 and 15 minutes by speed boat depending on the route you have chosen.
Online Bookings must be made at least 16 hours before departure. You will receive an email confirmation as soon as you have booked and this will be followed up by a reconfirmation from Sudin Transport so make sure you monitor your email and spam folders. Opt for the ease of a speedboat journey from Teluk Nare to the Gili Islands, a choice favoured by many travellers. Teluk Nare is just 30 minutes north of Senggigi.

Alternatively, you can take a speedboat from Bangsal to the Gili Islands*. Given the limited travel options from Gili Meno to Bali, opting for a speed boat to Bangsal for a fast boat departure to Bali is a good alternative.
