Gili Getaway offers daily fast-boat services from Serangan Harbour in South Bali to Gili Trawangan, Gili Air, and onward to Bangsal, Lombok.

Travel times are approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes to Gili Trawangan, 2 hours and 45 minutes to Gili Air, and around 3 hours to Bangsal. Depending on the season, there is one or up to two daily departures. Routes may be direct or include stops via Penida and Gede.

Gili Getaway also offers a free, air-conditioned pick-up and return shuttle to your hotel or villa in Bali. Due to frequent heavy traffic, we highly recommend using this service to ensure you never miss your boat. If you choose to make your own way to the harbor and arrive late, the boat will not wait.
The shared hotel shuttle is available from the following areas: Sanur, Denpasar, Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Kerobokan, Umalas, Airport, Jimbaran, Tanjung Benoa, Nusa Dua, and parts of Canggu (Happy Chappy Canggu pick-up point).

For locations outside these areas, transfers can be arranged using a private vehicle for an additional charge. You can add your pick-up and drop-off details when booking on our website. If you don’t yet know your accommodation, you can arrange it later by contacting us.
After completing your booking, you will receive an email within 24 hours confirming your exact pick-up time.

If you prefer to arrange your own transport to the harbor, please arrive at least 30 minutes before departure to allow time for check-in.

Gili Getaway cancellation & amendment policy

The full ticket price will be charged for any cancellation less than 48 hours prior to boat departure. From 48 hours to 7 days, you will receive a 50% refund minus any charges applied to make the refund (see the general Terms and Conditions for cancellation charges). Outside 7 Days, you will receive a full refund minus any charges applied to make the refund (see the general Terms and Conditions for cancellation charges).

In cases of unexpected illness etc., exceptions can be considered if doctor's notes/other proof can be provided. Contact Gili Getaway using their details found on your e-tickets.

If you wish to change your travel dates with Gili Getaway, you can do so for free (subject to availability), up to 48hrs prior to departure and 96 hours prior to departure for high season (1 Jul – 30 Sept). If you need to change your route or boat carrier entirely, please contact us direct for assistance, bearing in mind the above mentioned refund policy.

Baggage allowance

Passengers are allowed 25kg per person. Extra baggage (subject to availability) is IDR10,000 per kilo (under €1 per kg), payable on the day.
